In the online gathering Ana Antadze and Rena Kessem will talk about the influence of the ancestors on cultural troubles, some of which we are dealing with in our current times.

In the talk, injustice, violence, war and similar troubles are considered as ancestral legacies. To see our current political upheavals from an ancestral angle, helps us not only with uncovering the systematic harm more skilfully, but can also assist us with becoming more effective in cultural repair work. Furthermore it can strengthen the healing intent towards transforming collective trauma.

What are the benefits of ancestral healing?

Our “modern” cultures carry a great deal of unprocessed ancestral burdens, that is reflected in our individual, collective, political and economic realities. When the collective field is burdened with unprocessed ancestral trauma, it affects our reality as individuals and as a collective.

Similar to individual trauma, collective trauma needs healing attention to break unhealthy chains.

Our ancestors play a big role in shaping our current political, economic, social and personal realities. Wars, unjust power dynamics, sexism, racism and the many other troubles play out as traumatic ancestral legacies in the collective and prevent healthy societal growth.

If we want to free ourselves from intergenerational burdens, reclaim our personal power and be more resourced and successful in matters of cultural recovery and justice, it’s important to heal the ancestral field.

On the ancestral lineage healing online teaching you’ll:

•  Learn about the connection between the ancestors and cultural troubles.

•   Understand how the ancestors impact our reality and how to seek their guidance for meeting challenges in a resourced way.

•   Experience a ritual connection with your ancestral realm.

The project is funded by the “Women’s fund in Georgia”.

Rena Kessem

Born and raised Jewish in Cleveland, Ohio, to a father who was a first generation American, with parents from Hungary and Slovenia, and a mother who was born in Poland and spent WWII as a young child in Siberia and Uzbekistan. She moved to Israel immediately after college, in a combination of idealism and economic opportunity, and  has lived there all of her adult life, marrying and raising a family. The idealism progressively gave way to disillusionment, which has deepened exponentially with the current government and the ongoing war. Rena is a certified Ancestral Medicine practitioner, author of the first book introducing modern paganism to the Israeli audience, a spiritual teacher and ritualist, and a singer songwriter currently recording her first album.
